Ro: Soarele apunea încet peste Vama Veche, lăsând pe cer dungi colorate.
En: The sun was slowly setting over Vama Veche, leaving colorful streaks across the sky.

Ro: Nisipul era cald sub picioarele goale ale lui Andrei.
En: The sand was warm under Andrei's bare feet.

Ro: Aștepta entuziast întâlnirea cu Raluca și Mihai.
En: He was eagerly awaiting the meeting with Raluca and Mihai.

Ro: După un an de muncă nebunească, dorea să simtă din nou legătura veche și sinceră cu prietenii săi.
