First,  a look at this day in History.

Then, Suspense, originally broadcast  July 13, 1958, 68 years ago, The Long Night starring Frank Lovejoy.   A chilling story about a lost pilot and an air traffic controller. Frank Lovejoy became a licensed pilot after he first did this script on "Suspense," on November 18, 1956.

Followed by Somebody Knows, originally broadcast July 13, 1950, 76 years ago, the Mary Agnes Kabiska Murder. On August 9, 1948, a woman is murdered in St. Paul. Her throat had been slashed. Two years later, the homicidal maniac strikes again, this time in Cleveland. Was it the same killer? CBS offers $5000 to listeners who can help find the killer.

Then, Box Thirteen starring Alan Ladd,  originally broadcast  July 13, 1949, 77 years ago, House of Darkness.  A shot in the dark helps Dan Holiday and a blind man find adventure.
