Confined to hospital and home due to infection risks, he’s missing school and playtime — but his family’s dream is simple: to see him healthy and happy again. To support them, friends are hiking 44km on the Slieve Felim Way and a live music fundraiser is happening in Killoscully on August 1st. With treatment lasting 2.5–3 years, Alfie’s parents have sacrificed careers and income, and their GoFundMe has already raised over €16,000 to help cover the mounting costs.
