Description
Luna returns to her editing booth after the revelation at Beechwood Lane, but the breathing is louder now, coming from the tapes themselves. She finds a new cassette hidden in the lining of her bag—one that wasn't there before. On it, a man's voice speaks in a calm, measured tone, describing a place called the Hollow, where the after-breath was first made. Luna follows the address to an old radio station on Route 9, but when she arrives, the building is empty except for a single reel-to-reel machine still running. The tape on it is labeled 'The Making of the After-Breath.' As she listens, she realizes the voice from her bag is the same as the voice on the reel—and it is speaking directly to her, telling her she has already brought the after-breath inside her. The episode ends with Luna looking at her own hand, where the skin is beginning to feel cold.
