Description
Luna faces the older version of herself in the attic study of the boarded house on Sycamore Lane. The typewriter is cold now, but the pages keep appearing — each one a different version of her own life. She reads a page that describes her death, and another where she never found the house. The breathing in her chest becomes a second voice, and Luna realizes the author is not one woman but many — every version of herself she could have been. She follows a trail of pages to a locked door, behind which she hears her own voice humming the lullaby. The episode ends with Luna pressing her ear to the wood, the breathing now a whispered countdown, and she knows that when it reaches zero, the door will open.
