Description
Luna steps through the locked door into a white room with a hospital bed, where the breathing in her chest counts down to zero. She finds a cassette labeled 'Birth: Take One' and plays it, hearing a woman screaming and a doctor saying the child did not survive. The lullaby plays in her mother's voice from the wall, and Luna realizes this is the scene of her own birth and erasure. As the breathing stops, she sees a figure in the corner of the room—a woman holding a baby. The figure turns, and Luna recognizes her mother's face, but the baby is not her. The episode ends with Luna reaching for the baby, the lullaby slowing, and the breathing beginning in the baby's chest instead of hers.
