Description
Luna recounts a night in late October 1997, when she walked the tide line at Dunmore Beach, Rhode Island, and met a woman who was not supposed to be there. The woman wore a blue dress soaked through, and she pointed at something in the sand that Luna could not see at first. By the time Luna understood what she was looking at, the woman was gone. This episode is about the shape of a human hand drawn in wet sand, the way the tide erases things slowly, and the feeling of being watched from the water after you have turned your back. It is quiet. It ends with a question that does not have an answer.
