Af: Die reuk van gepoleerde hout en ou boeke vul die lug in die Natuurhistoriese Museum.
En: The smell of polished wood and old books fills the air in the Natuurhistoriese Museum.
Af: Dit is winter en die kinders se asems maak klein wolkies voor hulle gesigte in die koue.
En: It's winter, and the children's breaths make small clouds in front of their faces in the cold.
Af: Tiaan, 'n bietjie skaam en altyd nuuskierig, hou styf sy notaboek vas terwyl hy opgewonde in die museum instap.
En: Tiaan, a little shy and always curious, tightly holds his notebook as he excitedly steps into the museum.
Af: Dit is 'n skooluitstappie waarna hy maande lank uitgesien het.
En: It is a school field trip he has been looking forward to for months.
Af: Langs hom stap Marlize.
En: Next to him walks Marlize.
