In this Mandarin episode, I talk about our exam week this week: the organization, time and format, the tiredness, the stress and sincere gratitude. I want to give thanks to my students and listeners. I appreciate the opportunity to share my life with you all.
Some useful words:
- 疲惫Píbèi：tired, exhausted
- 虽然...但是...suīrán... Dànshì... : although... but...
- 调整Tiáozhěng: adjust, alter
- 工作量gōngzuò liàng: workload
- 出题chū tí : to author or create questions (for school exams, tests)
- 过程guòchéng: process
- 回顾huígù: look back, review
- 整个zhěnggè: entire, whole
- 内容nèiróng: content
- 总结zǒngjié: summary, summarize
- 交卷（子）jiāojuàn (zi): submit or turn in the exam paper
- 批改pīgǎi: to grade/mark (e.g. exam, writing)
- 待dài: stay till
- 焦急jiāojí anxious
- 成绩chéngjī: grade/score
- 尽快jǐnkuài: ASAP
- 年初niánchū: beginning of the year
- 假期jiàqī: vacation period
- 福利fúlì: (work, social) benefit
- 感谢gǎnxiè: give thanks to
- 珍惜zhēnxī: cherish
- 时光shíguāng: time (more poetic, formal)
- 不仅仅bùjǐn: not just
- 圣诞shèngdànL Christmas
- 支持zhīchí: support
