പയ്യന്നൂരില് അനസ്തീസിയ നല്കിയതിന് പിന്നാലെ ഗുരുതാവസ്ഥായിലായി മരിച്ച ഒരു വയസുകാരന് ദേവാന്ഷ് ശൗര്യക്ക് വിടനല്കി നാടും കുടുംബവും. കണ്ണൂര് പയ്യാമ്പലം ശ്മശാനത്തില് മൃതദേഹം വൈകിട്ടോടെ സംസ്കരിച്ചു. ബേബി മെമ്മോറിയല് ആശുപത്രിയുടേത് ഒഴിവാക്കാമായിരുന്ന ചികില്സയായിരുന്നുവെന്നും കുഞ്ഞ് അബോധാവസ്ഥയിലായപ്പോള് ഇതിനുകൂടിയാണ് നിങ്ങള് ഒപ്പിട്ടുനല്കിയതെന്നും ഡോക്ടര്മാര് പറഞ്ഞുവെന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കള് ആരോപിച്ചു. ആശുപത്രിയില് നടത്തിയ ചര്ച്ചയില് പീഡിയാട്രീഷ്യന് ആശ നിര്മല്, പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് സര്ജന് ആരതി എന്നിവരെ കൂടി പ്രതിചേര്ക്കുമെന്ന് പൊലീസ് ഉറപ്പുനല്കി. മാനേജുമെന്റിനെയും പ്രതിചേര്ക്കണമെന്നും കുടുംബം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു
The community and the family have bid farewell to one-year-old Devansh Shaurya, who passed away after falling into a critical condition following the administration of anesthesia in Payyannur. The last rites were performed at the Payyambalam crematorium in Kannur this evening.
The relatives have alleged that the treatment provided by the Baby Memorial Hospital was avoidable. They claim that doctors told them, "You signed for this as well," when the child became unconscious. During discussions held at the hospital, the police assured the family that the pediatrician, Dr. Asha Nirmal, and the plastic surgeon, Dr. Arathi, would also be named as accused in the case. The family has demanded that the hospital management also be included as accused.
