Af: Die wind het liggies deur Kirstenbosch se bome gefluister.
En: The wind whispered softly through the trees of Kirstenbosch.

Af: Dit was winter, maar die tuin was steeds 'n kleurvolle plaatjie van lewendige blomme en talle groen skakerings.
En: It was winter, but the garden was still a colorful picture of vibrant flowers and many shades of green.

Af: Liam het diep asemgehaal, die vars, koue lug vul sy longe.
En: Liam took a deep breath, the fresh, cold air filling his lungs.

Af: Hy het pas na Kaapstad getrek en hier, tussen die rus en kalmte van Kirstenbosch, het hy gehoop om sy stukkende familie bietjie reg te laat kom.
