Among the key strategic partners at the event was the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, which played a prominent role by showcasing its specialised training and professional development programmes — all designed to sharpen jobseekers' skills and significantly boost their workplace readiness.

What makes the Graduates' Gateway truly stand out is its philosophy. This wasn't a passive exhibition where graduates simply handed out CVs and walked away. It was, in the words of Dr Saif Khamis Al Naqbi, Vice Chancellor of UKF for Community Affairs, an interactive space — one where the real value lies not only in the job opportunities on display, but in the knowledge graduates gain about what employers are actively seeking right now, in real time. That kind of insider perspective, Dr Al Naqbi explained, is what transforms a graduate from a promising candidate into a genuinely employable professional.

Dr Al Naqbi was clear and passionate in articulating the university's broader philosophy: "We believe at University of Khorfakkan that our responsibility towards students extends beyond graduation. That is why we are committed to launching high-quality initiatives that enhance graduates' readiness, align with labour market needs, support the development of national talent, and empower them to contribute to the UAE's broader development journey."

The event also carried a broader national significance. Each organisation that participated did not merely advertise open roles — they actively presented their recruitment needs and career requirements, helping to foster meaningful knowledge exchange between academia and industry, while contributing to the UAE's wider national agenda of empowering Emirati talent and investing in human capital as a cornerstone of the country's continued development.
