Gamaldi weighed in on some of the problems with policing in Minneapolis as yet another violent summer in Minneapolis unfolds on the heels of an alleged sex scandal that led the former chief of police to pack his bags.
He also discussed problems with crime and leadership as as the department continues to struggle meeting minimum staffing levels.
“It’s very clear that they are willing to put their failed ideology over the safety of their community members, and it’s sickening,” Gemaldi said.
