Story Transcript:

Lt: Žaliuojantis miškas, besitęsiantis iki Kuršių nerijos smėlio kopų, švelniai šlamėjo nuo vasaros vėjo.
En: The lush forest, stretching to the sandy dunes of the Kuršių Spit, gently rustled in the summer breeze.

Lt: Rimantas ir Asta žengė per samanotą miško paklotę.
En: Rimantas and Asta stepped over the mossy forest floor.

Lt: Jie abu buvo drąsūs ir pasiruošę nuotykiams, bet apie grybų rinkimo taisykles neturėjo nė žalio supratimo.
En: They were both brave and ready for adventure, but they didn't have the slightest idea about the rules of mushroom picking.

Lt: "Ačiū, kad užsirašei mane šitam konkursui," šyptelėjo Asta, užkiusdama plaukų sruogą už ausies.
En: "Thank you for signing me up for this competition," Asta smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Lt: Ji jautėsi truputį nervinga, bet taip pat ir pasiryžusi įveikti savo baimes.
En: She felt a bit nervous but was also determined to conquer her fears.

Lt: "Dar nežinau, ką mes turime daryti," prisipažino Rimantas, nors iš tikrųjų jis jau nusprendė apsimesti, kad viską supranta.
En: "I still don't know what we are supposed to do," confessed Rimantas, although he had already decided to pretend he knew everything.

Lt: Viliavosi, jog viską pavyks išspręsti pakeliui.
En: He hoped it would all work out along the way.

Lt: Jie buvo apsupti storų ąžuolų ir beržų, po jų kojomis mirgėjo įvairių formų ir spalvų grybai.
En: They were surrounded by thick oaks and birches, with mushrooms of various shapes and colors flickering underfoot.

Lt: Konkursas vadinosi "Gamtos stebuklas" ir turėjo būti šiek tiek keistas, kaip Rimantui pasakojo vietinis senolis prie registracijos stotelės.
En: The competition was called "The Wonder of Nature," and it was supposed to be a bit peculiar, as a local elder had explained at the registration stop.

Lt: Staiga, iš šono pasirodė keletas kitų dalyvių.
En: Suddenly, a few other participants appeared from the side.

Lt: Jie šypsojosi ir energingai pasuko gilyn į mišką.
En: They smiled and energetically headed deeper into the forest.
