Welcome back to Vile And Horrendous. Happy post-4th of July, folks. Through the magic of time travel, this is our big 250th anniversary spectacular, and for once we're going to spend some time actually celebrating this country rather than dragging it.
We kick things off with the first ever unboxing on this show, courtesy of Amazon Prime Day. Two items arrived together in the same box that have absolutely no business being near each other. That's all I'll say.
From there, We Salute You goes full patriotic as I run through six things I genuinely love about the United States of America, no irony, no bit. The country that gave the world hip hop, rock and roll, jazz, the blues, the Sopranos, Seinfeld, the Mall of America, same-day delivery of literally anything, American Chinese food, and Tex-Mex deserves its flowers. Six things. I tried for ten. Six is what I had.
Then we close with two Pig Talk stories, one about rideshare drivers treating public roads like their personal parking lot, and one that I cannot in good conscience fully read on air. Happy birthday, America!.
