Aura Gold – The Story Behind 'We Love Ibiza': Turning the Island’s History Into a Comic Book
Description
Comic artist and creator Aura Gold joins us to reveal the incredible story behind We Love Ibiza — the ambitious comic book series documenting the history, culture and characters that have shaped the world’s most famous island.
From Ibiza’s ancient origins and the arrival of the bohemian generation, through the birth of the club scene and the electronic music revolution, We Love Ibiza brings together decades of island history through illustrations, storytelling and first-hand accounts from the people who were there.
Aura also discusses the incredible community that helped bring the project to life, working alongside Ibiza historian Martin Davies, illustrator Rodrigo Cardama, and the many residents, artists and pioneers who shared their memories.
