A Golden Eagle, found sprinting away from a Texas game warden near Silverton, is recovering at a wildlife rehab center after being dehydrated, underweight, and suspected of having a bacterial lung infection. Though he’s only six pounds—light for his species—and feisty enough to lunge at staff, his X-rays and bloodwork are clear.
