What happens when people call on God with words, but not with their hearts? In 2 Kings 1–2, Pastor Paul traces God’s powerful response to empty religion, stubborn pride, and genuine humility through the ministry of Elijah and the rise of Elisha. You’ll see why trusting the Lord matters most in times of crisis, how God distinguishes between lip service and repentance, and what it means to take up the mantle of faithful obedience. These chapters reveal both the seriousness of honoring God and the grace shown to those who truly humble themselves before Him.
