On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the ceremony and reveal of the 1976 Time Capsule contents on the Henry County Courthouse lawn in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Just a few items were on display, as the other more “weather sensitive” items are available to view at the Mount Pleasant Public Library. Lots of people attended to see history and memories up close. It all happened July 3, 2026.
