New Orleans is about to become the action sports capital of the world as the X Games Championship rolls into town July 24–26. For the first time ever, athletes and teams will compete in the new X Games League, bringing the world’s best skateboarders, BMX riders, and Moto X competitors to the Superdome campus. Kevin O’Conner, Chief Marketing Officer for X Games, joins Newell to talk about the competition, the concerts, the massive X Fest fan experience in Champions Square, and the economic impact this international event is expected to have on New Orleans.
