When We Hear, But Don’t Listen 

Sometimes we hear the words, but we don’t really listen.

Sometimes the invitation is not for us to do or to be.

Sometimes the invitation is simply to receive.

To listen not to respond, but to understand;

to consider,

to learn,

to grow.

To let the words change us.

Let all of us who have ears, hear.
