The summer promo teases Kristen's kidnapping, leaving fans speculating who might be behind it.

DOOL spoilers suggest that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) emerges as a potential culprit, given he might want revenge for Kristen's murder attempt on his son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). However, Gwen Rizczech and Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson), grieving over Sophia's death, might also have the motivation to take Kristen down. Other possible suspects include Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), who would defend her husband Johnny, and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), who aims to reform the DiMera family.

Spoilers for Days of our Lives hint an intriguing twist could come with a cameo by late-night host John Oliver, who is slated for an appearance in August. His character might be Dante Vitali, the fiancé of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Given the Vitali family's criminal history, if Kristen targets Sami's daughter Sydney DiMera (baby) (Avery and Cade Seger), Dante might take drastic action to protect his future family.
