It has been a year since the national dialogue in the country shifted to focus on allegations of corruption, criminal cartels and interference in the country's criminal justice system.
The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry now has to decide whether to ask President Cyril Ramaphosa for an extension to allow for more testimony following the initial allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Jacaranda FM Newswatch journalist Anastasi Mokgobu has been covering these public hearings since the first sitting in September last year.
