George E. Johnson, founder of Johnson Products and one of America's most influential Black entrepreneurs, has died at 99. Johnson transformed the Black hair-care industry, led the first Black-owned company listed on a major U.S. stock exchange and helped build lasting Black-owned institutions through business and banking.
