നാടിനെ നടുക്കി വയനാട്ടില് വീണ്ടും ജീവനെടുത്ത് വന് മണ്ണിടിച്ചില്. കള്ളാടിയില് തുരങ്കപാത നിര്മാണമേഖലയിലുണ്ടായ മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലില് അഞ്ചുപേര് മരിച്ചു. ഏഴുപേരെ കാണാതായി. കൂടുതല് പേര് മണ്ണിനടിയില്പ്പെട്ടെന്ന സംശയമുണ്ട്. അപകടമേഖലയിലേക്ക് എത്താനുള്ള മീനാക്ഷിപ്പാലത്തില് മണ്ണ് മൂടിയതും പ്രതികൂലകാലാവസ്ഥയും രക്ഷാപ്രവര്ത്തനത്തിന് വെല്ലുവിളിയായി.
