Verstappen's rear wing failed for the second race running at Silverstone, him calling his own car dangerous. It seems like relations between he and Red Bull are at all-time low. Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri sits sixth in the championship and one journalist reports his McLaren contract carries a release clause that reads the summer break standings.
Piastri's clause may fire in August with Verstappen's in October...McLaren could be caught in the middle of that gap...but if they pull it off, a potential marketing boon awaits them.
