How God Prepares You for the Battles You Never See Coming | Barry Loudermilk's God Story
Description
What happens when a sitting U.S. Congressman survives not one but multiple life threatening events in the same year?
In this episode of Witness the Wonder, Congressman Barry Loudermilk shares his extraordinary personal testimony of faith, survival, and God's protection.
He recounts being targeted in the 2017 Congressional Baseball Shooting, where 22 bullets were fired and none hit him, a near fatal rollover crash that nearly claimed his wife's life, a professional assassination attempt in the North Georgia mountains traced to a cryptic FBI clue, a train collision involving members of Congress, and a season of intense political persecution that required private security and an undisclosed location.
More than a survival story, this is a powerful God story about faith, miracles, and how God uses decades of smaller trials, a charging bear in Alaska, a rockslide, and a father's injury, to prepare you for the battles you can't yet see.
Congressman Loudermilk walks through how faith, Scripture, and the supernatural peace of God carried him when human strength couldn't. He also opens up about PTSD, the emotional weight of political attacks on his reputation, and why he believes suffering is never random when you're walking with God.
Key topics: Near death experiences, faith, miracles, God stories, miracle stories, the 2017 Congressional Baseball Shooting, surviving an assassination attempt, God's protection, supernatural protection, answered prayer, signs and wonders, overcoming political persecution, PTSD, and Christian encouragement for hard seasons.
