Community pillar Alicia Crank recently joined host The Big O on The Mother’s Justice Show for a conversation exploring the complex risks and rewards for Black people who take on leadership roles in environments not originally designed for them.
As "Connector-In-Chief" at Crank'd Up Consulting and the Senior Manager of Corporate and Institutional Philanthropy at the Seattle Opera, Crank examined the rise of Black artists and Black female athletes in predominantly white spaces. She also shared insights on her recent selection as one of only five official social content creators for the upcoming SHE Weekend in Las Vegas, hosted by Flavor Flav.
