In reproductive medicine, platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is an emerging treatment that uses a patient’s own blood to concentrate platelets and growth factors that may help support tissue repair and regeneration. In fertility care, PRP may be placed into the ovaries to stimulate ovarian activity, supporting follicular growth, but NOT improving pregnancy outcomes.
