In Direct Israel-Iran Clashes, state prosecutors filed an indictment at the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday against Bekhruz Shakhriv Dodobaev, a 33-year-old Tajik citizen whose temporary Israeli residency permit had expired by May. He is charged with contact with a foreign agent, nine counts of communicating information that could benefit an enemy, and four counts of communicating information to an enemy with intent to harm state security. Prosecutors say he gathered and relayed information on missile-impact sites, Haifa Port, and an Elbit Systems facility to Iranian intelligence contacts in exchange for cryptocurrency payments. Dodobaev was reportedly approached via Telegram by a profile using the name Anna; from February through June, he was directed by three handlers named Anna, Uri, and Polina, whom prosecutors identify as Iranian foreign agents. He was allegedly paid through digital wallets for assignments including sending footage.
In Regional Impacts, the IDF’s Judea and Samaria Division has launched several broad operations in recent days to prevent a rise in terrorist activity and reduce friction between right-wing activists at farms and outposts in the West Bank and Palestinians.
