DC’s Supergirl | Would-be superhero movie done in by SCRIPTONITE?

Watch Skip Plus is BACK! WillDaBeast was on vacay, but Cupcake joined our YouTube brothers’ podcast “...And Now for Something A Little Bit Different” to discuss the James Gun led DC Studios’ second film after the successful Superman: Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock, Eve Ridley, David Corenswet, and Matthias Schonaerts. Written by Ana Nogueira and directed by auteur Craig Gillespie (“Lars and the Real Girl”, “I, Tonya”, and Disney’s “Cruella”), this film BOMBED spectacularly. Is it really terrible or is this a major case of SCRIPTONITE and a victim of test screenings that saw 25 MINUTES shaved from the originally planned running time of Two Hours and 15 minutes?

Hold onto your Butts! Joined by Sam U. Rai of the Gentleman’s Guide to Midnite Cinema, Kevin from the Raiders of the Podcast, and Linus formerly of the Death By DVD podcast, this is the discussion to end all discussions - comic history, spoiler-free, and spoiler’d.
