James Golden aka Bo Snerdley critiques what he perceives as the liberal co-optation of America’s 250th anniversary, arguing that the left uses the occasion to promote ideologies like open borders and radical climate policy that contradict the nation’s founding principles. He weaves together contemporary cultural grievances—ranging from HOA restrictions on flying the American flag to the cancellation of patriotic parades due to heat—to paint a picture of a country where traditional values are being suppressed by elite "celebrity royalty" and partisan agendas.
