Episode Details

The Montreal Canadiens have officially made their qualifying offer decisions, and there are plenty of storylines to break down.

In today's episode of The Starr & D'Amico Show, we discuss the Canadiens issuing qualifying offers to Kirby Dach, Zach Bolduc, and Arber Xhekaj, what those decisions mean for each player's future in Montreal, and what their next contracts could look like.

We also examine the Canadiens' decision not to qualify Joe Veleno, making him an unrestricted free agent. Does this signal increased confidence in Owen Beck or Florian Xhekaj earning full-time NHL opportunities next season? Could the organization be clearing a path for its younger prospects?

Join Shaun Starr and Marco D'Amico as they analyze Montreal's roster decisions, player development, contract situations, and what these moves tell us about Kent Hughes' long-term plan for the Canadiens.

💬 Do you agree with the Canadiens' qualifying offer decisions?

Should Kirby Dach still be part of Montreal's long-term core? Is Arber Xhekaj an everyday NHL defenseman? Is Owen Beck ready for a full-time role?
