A Lahinch woman has once again done Clare and Ireland proud on the international stage.
Marie O'Connor returned home from the European Transplant Games in the Netherlands with an impressive haul of one gold, one silver and one bronze medal, helping Team Ireland secure 28 medals despite the competition being cut short due to extreme heat.
Marie, who underwent two life-saving kidney transplants following a viral infection, has long been an ambassador for organ donation and the power of sport in recovery.
She joined Alan Morrissey to look back on a memorable week in Arnhem.
