Returning to the show is Dr. Bruce Kornreich. He is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist and director of the Cornell Feline Health Center at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

In this episode, Dr. Kornreich discusses signs that a cat is experiencing pain. He also differentiates between acute and chronic pain. Regarding chronic pain, Dr. Kornreich talks about osteoarthritis in cats and various treatment options. He also notes the importance of veterinary care for suspected cat pain and having a pain management plan in conjunction with the cat owner’s veterinarian.
