(0:00) The guys talk about how people are traveling for the 4th and how long traffic is, and also how fast people go. Is it the GPS’s fault? They then talk about sometimes ways takes you off main roads into a small town, going to the cape over the winter, Fred being in Boston during Nomar Garciaparra trade, how big the Red Sox were after they won in 2004 and again in 2007, how big was Nomar back when he got traded. The guys then do a preview of what they are going to talk about Jaylen Brown later.
(22:07) (33:13) WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT: The guys talk about the world cup and the USMNT game last night where they beat Bosnia 2-0, a play that resulted in a red card, and they advanced to play Belgium in the round of 16. Also, they talk about the Red Sox game, where they lost 10-2 after Tolle didn’t pitch well, and things are now back to normal. Then the guys get to the Bruins who added a couple people via trades and a few free agents. One of those trades got the Bruins a top 4 right defenseman. They also react to Sweeney’s comments about the day yesterday. Also, they get to the Jaylen Brown trade and give their thoughts and react to analysis of the trade, how the Celtics were shopping him and how no one wanted him, and what could’ve happened behind the scenes to make Jaylen Brown’s value go way down.
