The Lebanon County NAACP, in partnership with the Lebanon County America250 Planning Committee, present "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?"........... a community oration that will be read on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Lebanon County Semiquincentennial Celebration.  

Community members will present the lengthy speech, first delivered on July 5, 1852 by Frederick Douglass, inside the Brightbill Arena at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center & Fairgrounds, Cornwall and Rocherty Roads in North Cornwall Township,  from 4-6pm.  

The daylong celebration of America's 250th Anniversary is free and open to the public.
