Cs: Na kopci nad vesnicí stál velký rodinný dům, kde každé léto celá rodina slavila svátek sv. Cyrila a Metoděje.
En: On the hill above the village stood a large family house where every summer the entire family celebrated the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Cs: Ten dům byl plný zvuků smíchu a radosti.
En: The house was full of sounds of laughter and joy.

Cs: V překrásné zahradě, obklopené bohatými letními květy, byly stoly pokryté tradičními českými dobrotami.

Cs: Bojím se, jak to řeknu rodině," přiznal tiše.
