Putin could be "forced to surrender," but the underlying story is really about whether Ukraine's expanding drone campaign, pressure on Russian logistics, and economic difficulties can push Russia toward negotiations. Analysts cited in the report argue this may be Ukraine's strongest position in years, though Russia still retains substantial military and economic capacity and the war's outcome remains far from settled. 

The Post's editorial argues that alleged influence-based business dealings by Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and associates deserve the same scrutiny that Republicans previously directed at Hunter Biden.
