Nigeria’s Forgotten Christians: What the Headlines Won’t Tell You
Published 4 months ago
Description
Krista and Monique sit down with Ryan Brown, CEO of Open Doors US, to explore the reality of the global persecuted church. They discuss the ministry’s origins with Brother Andrew smuggling Bibles behind the Iron Curtain 70 years ago, the biblical view of persecution, and why the church often advances most powerfully under pressure.
Ryan shares sobering statistics and explains Open Doors’ World Watch List, which ranks the 50 countries where believers experience the most hostility. The conversation dives deep into Nigeria (ranked #7) and challenges Western believers to move to action through prayer, solidarity, and practical support like providing Scriptures.
Visit https://www.opendoorsus.org and explore the World Watch List for country-specific prayer points.
