The World Health Organisation says more than 1300 deaths can now be linked to Europe's unprecedented summer heatwave. As the heat moves east, all-time temperature records have been broken in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Experts say with global warming making heatwaves more frequent, severe, and deadly, Europe is particularly vulnerable when it comes to soaring temperatures. - سازمان جهانی صحت می‌گوید بیش از ۱۳۰۰ مورد مرگ اکنون با موج بی‌سابقه گرمی تابستانی در اروپا مرتبط دانسته می‌شود. همزمان با حرکت این موج گرمی به سوی شرق، ریکاردهای تاریخی درجه حرارت در آلمان، پولند و جمهوری چک شکسته شده است. کارشناسان هشدار می‌دهند که با افزایش شدت و مرگبار بودن موج‌های گرمی بر اثر گرمی جهانی، اروپا به گونه ویژه در برابر درجه حرارت بسیار بالا آسیب‌پذیر است.
