Sl: Na tržnici ob Blejskem jezeru je bilo živahno.
En: The market by Blejski Lake was bustling.

Sl: Blejski otok z znamenito cerkvijo je bil tihi opazovalec, ki je gledal na množico ljudi.
En: Blejski otok with its famous church was a silent observer, watching over the crowd of people.

Sl: Vetrič je prinašal vonj svežih žemljic in sladkih rogljičkov.

Sl: Matej je hodil po tržnici z mislijo na svojo babico.

Sl: Bil je tako lep, da je Mateju zastal dih.
En: It was so beautiful that it took Matej's breath away.

Sl: "To je popolno," je rekel Matej, "ampak bojim se, da morda nimam dovolj denarja.
En: "This is perfect," said Matej, "but I'm afraid I might not have enough money."

Sl: "Eva je opazila njegov zadržek in ga vzpodbudila.
En: Eva noticed his hesitation and encouraged him.

Sl: "Povej mi, zakaj je to darilo tako pomembno zate?
En: "Tell me, why is this gift so important to you?"

Sl: "Matej ji je razložil, kako njegova babica obožuje tradicionalno slovensko kulturo in ples.
