Cs: Mlžný močál se pomalu probouzel do letního rána.
En: The Mlžný močál was slowly awakening to a summer morning.
Cs: Zdeněk, Milan a Lenka byli už nadšeni z plánované kanoistické výpravy.

Cs: Mlžný močál byl proslulý svou krásou, ale také svým tajemstvím.

Cs: Ráno bylo mlhavé, vzduch byl nasáklý vůní vody a rozkládajícího se listí.

Cs: Lenka se zasmála: "Třeba bychom to měli brát jako pozvánku na jejich žabí říši."

Cs: Když pluli dál, kolem kánoe začínaly slyšet čím dál hlasitější kvákání.
En: As they paddled further, the croaking around the canoe became louder.
Cs: Zřejmě narazili na přirozenou žabí kolonii.
En: Apparently, they had come across a natural frog colony.
Cs: Najednou!
En: Suddenly!
Cs: Velká žába vyskočila přímo na okraj kánoe.
En: A big frog jumped right onto the edge of the canoe.
Cs: Loď sebou škubla, voda se rozvlnila.
En: The boat jerked, the water rippled.
Cs: Panika se zdvihla.
En: Panic rose.
Cs: "Pozor!"
