Ennis Student Develops Life-Saving Cervical Screening Test

A student from Ennis has developed an innovative project aimed at making cervical screening more accessible, supportive and empowering for women.
REALA is an at-home cervical screening concept that combines a reusable screening device with a digital app offering clear, stigma-free information on cervical health, HPV and preventative care.
Designed as a final year project, it seeks to address the barriers that can leave many women feeling anxious, embarrassed or disconnected from the screening process.
