Our incredible guest in this episode is the one and only Jean-Claude Biver, who has been referred to in many circles as The Godfather, The Wizard of Watchmaking and The Saviour of the Swiss Watch Industry. Few figures have shaped modern horology with such force, vision, and charisma.

In Part 1 of a two part interview, we find out about the influences which led Jean-Claude to his unbelievable passion for watches and his inimitable impact on the industry. We discover how these influences and experiences led him to finally start his own eponymous watch brand, Biver, and how  his son, Pierre Biver, has become a huge part of that legacy and succession.
