Knighton Gorges: The Vanished Haunted House of the Isle of Wight, Paranormal Stories and Ghostly Legends
Description
A 1918 newspaper clipping preserves an older tale of Knighton Gorges, where a vanished house seemed to return in ghostly light, music, voices, dogs, and a spectral Christmas gathering.
On the Isle of Wight, only fragments remain of the old estate, but the stories continue: rattling chains, phantom revels, strange lights, and a house said to appear again when the conditions are right.
