Description
Luna stands frozen in the hidden room behind the wall of mirrors, her hand pressed against the glass case that holds the corpse of Marguerite, the original curse victim from 1912. The doppelgänger child, speaking with Clara's voice, warns her that taking the key from the corpse's hand will erase Luna's existence. But as the corpse's eyes open, a new choice emerges: the key is not the only object in the case. A small leather-bound book rests beside Marguerite's hand, its pages blank except for a single word written in gold leaf: 'Rewrite.' Luna must decide whether to reach for the key, the book, or flee, while the doppelgänger child begins to sing a lullaby that sounds like her own mother's voice. This episode deepens the curse's history and leaves Luna facing an impossible choice.
