Description
January 1997, a deckhand named Ezra on a single-lane bridge over Loftus Narrows, Maine. He sees a trawler he knows is wrecked pass beneath him — nets full, running lights dark, a figure at the wheel who does not turn. Luna pieces together what Ezra saw that night and what he found when he drove to the landing the next morning: a boat that was not there, a net that was, and a photograph of a man who had been dead for twelve years.
