After initially facing closure as early as June 30, the Michael J. Fox Theatre will now remain open to the public until July 2027. The decision follows a new agreement between the City of Burnaby and the Burnaby School District, which includes a one-time municipal grant and a renewed effort to find a long-term operator for the theatre.
