Amana ACs and Power Banks Recalled
Description
Over 13,000 Amana ACs and heat pumps are being recalled—window and through-the-wall units with PB model numbers—due to a live heating element that poses a serious fire risk, including one reported melting incident. Sold between April and December last year, users must stop using them immediately. Daikin is offering full refunds. Also, portable power banks given out as freebies from 2019 to 2023 are being recalled for overheating and battery swelling, with two reported cases—no injuries, but definitely don’t keep them in your pocket. Full refunds are available. Stay safe and check your gear.
